The game promotes freeform exploration of the entire country that is in some cases recreated with the latest satellite 3D scanning technology, with incredible details going all the way to the smallest pebbles and leaves on bushes. The racing challenges found in Forza Horizon 5 for PC are both pre-made by developers and created on the fly by the gamers themselves. Players can move from region to region following the numerous festival challenges where they can learn points and reputation. Still, at every light stop, they can start their race with numerous real players that are dynamically added to their game map. The game even supports dynamic races that can crisscross with other live races set by other players, creating an environment of constant racing and fun all around them.

Open World can be edited with an expanded EventLab toolset to schedule custom races, challenges, stunts, collectible races, and more. In addition to the now-traditional racing modes set in the open-world environment on sand, gravel, dirt, mud, rocks, and pavement, the game also invites all players to drive in custom stadium challenges where any game user can create innovative tracks, jump points, and many other fun bonus elements.

Even though Forza Horizon 5 looks better than any other racing game ever made, it has very approachable PC hardware requirements and can be played without any issues on almost any modern PC and gaming laptop. However, due to its focus on the big country of Mexico and incredible detail in both environments and cars, the game requires at least 80GB of free space on local storage.
