Hitman 3 is a stealth game franchise developed and published by IO Interactive, as the final installment of their popular World of Assassination trilogy that consists of games Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2 (2018).

The third game in this series (eight in the entire Hitman franchise) continues the adventures of the mysterious Agent 47, who travels to numerous international destinations to solve mysteries of his past. In addition to concluding this latest trilogy of games, Hitman 3 game also celebrates the 20th anniversary of this franchise that has managed to attract over 20 million unique players since 2016.

The core gameplay concept of the Hitman 3 action stealth video game is focused on the third-person exploration of the various environments present in the game, with a goal of assassinating protected targets with any means necessary. To achieve their goals, players are tasked not only to simply explore their environment and locate targets, but also learn their schedules and find innovative ways of infiltrating into secure areas.

The game promotes sandbox gameplay, with players having the ability to knock out or assassinate random NPCs in their surroundings, taking their clothes as disguises, eavesdrop on conversations to learn valuable clues about their targets, and use interactive elements in environments as a tool in their assassination attempts.

Finding new disguises, tampering with equipment, discovering target movement schedules, and being in a right place at the right time has never been so engaging as before.

The central campaign of Hitman 3 is separated into six main chapters and an epilogue, which are located in six distinct worldwide locations - Dubai, Dartmoor, Berlin, Chongqing, Mendoza, and the Carpathian Mountains. Locations and missions present in the first two Hitman games (both base games and their numerous DLC expansions) can be imported to Hitman 3 if the players own those games on the same platform.

While Hitman 1 and 2 had some multiplayer modes, this final game in the series will be singleplayer-only, with some MP modes being available only with AI-controlled opponents. The game is available on the Windows PC platform as an Epic Games Store exclusive.
